Kavva was designed for adults with ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities,
and for anyone who finds the world a little too loud and wishes they
could bring their weighted blanket everywhere. You don't need a
diagnosis to wear it.

Kavva Weighted Hoodie uses 4kg of micro glass beads sewn into a chamber
across the torso. The result is even, distributed pressure across your
core which signals to your body that it is safe to relax, similar to the
feeling of a weighted blanket but in something you can actually wear
and move around in.

It's heavier than most weighted hoodies on the market, and that's
intentional. Most so-called "weighted" hoodies on the market weigh 1–2kg
— barely more than a standard hoodie. At that weight, you feel warmth,
not pressure.

4kg is the threshold where you actually feel held.
It's roughly the weight of a small house cat resting against your chest.
For most adults, that's noticeable but not heavy enough to fatigue you.

If you're particularly small-framed or have a shoulder or neck condition, we'd recommend trying a weighted blanket first to see how your body responds to deep pressure.

Most people wear it for a few hours at a stretch — during the
wind-down period after work, while reading or watching something at
home, on the couch, in the car, on long flights. Some wear it longer.

The weight sits on your torso, not your shoulders, so it doesn't fatigue the way a backpack would. That said, if it's your first weighted garment, start with shorter sessions (30–60 minutes) and let your body
adjust.

The Kavva Weighted Zip Hoodie is made from 100% cotton, while the category standard is polyester. Cotton is breathable, while polyester traps heat. That's the single
biggest reason we built it this way.

You'll feel warm, especially in the chest area where the bead chamber sits, but not the trapped, sweaty heat that comes from synthetic fabrics. We designed it for everyday wear, not just bedtime.

Like a regular hoodie. The weight is built into an internal chamber, not added as visible padding. From the outside, it reads as a slightly substantial zip-up hoodie, not a piece of medical equipment.

You can wear it for the commute, to a café, to work. The whole point was to make something discreet without having to explain yourself.

Our weighted hoodie can be washed in the washing machine.

Here are a few important tips for machine washing:

• Zip up the zipper fully before washing to prevent snagging
• Wash separately in cold water
• Select a gentle cycle
• Use only gentle or mild detergent
• Do not bleach
• Skip the dryer
• Always lay flat to dry. Never hang while wet

We do not recommend tumble drying.

Always lay your weighted hoodie flat to air dry.

Never hang your weighted hoodie up to dry - it'll stretch out the fabric.

We understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned. That’s why we offer a 60-day return window.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in clean, unused, and resaleable condition, with original packaging where possible.

You may inspect the product as you would in a retail store. However, items must not show signs of extended use.

Returns may be refused or partially refunded if the item:

• Shows signs of prolonged use
• Has been washed or altered
• Contains stains, odors, hair, or debris
• Is damaged or worn
• Is returned in an unsanitary condition

Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

The product must be securely packaged. Damage during return shipping due to poor packaging may result in a reduced refund.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 15 business days.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is defective.

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours with a description and photos of the damaged product and we'll be happy to assist.
